How to Fix a Broken Monster Jam Truck
Most of us have had a wheel break off our Monster Jam truck at some point. Sometimes they get stepped on or thrown around at the playground and a wheel falls off.
Then you try to use some Super Glue, Gorilla Glue, or Krazy Glue to glue the wheel back on but it keeps falling off. Keep reading to find out what to do next.
Today we will be fixing my son’s 40th Anniversary Grave Digger Monster Truck that came with the Monster Jam Garage Playset and Storage.
After a quick fix, Grave Digger now had a brown mudder tire that didn’t look quite right.
We searched for a better match and found a Monster Mutt Golden with a similar color chassis, so we changed out the wheels and chassis to make the truck look like new again.
How to Fix or Customize 1:64 Scale Monster Jam Truck
- Find another truck with a chassis and wheels that are the color you want.
- Find a small phillips head screwdriver that fits into the opening on the bottom of the truck. Unscrew the screw and take the truck apart, be careful not to loose the tiny screw. Do this for both trucks.
- Remove the roll cages from the chassis of the two trucks.
- Put the roll cage and monster truck body onto the new chassis with the new wheels.
- Screw the truck back together.
- Save the extra body for spare parts (you never know when Monster Mutt Golden is going to loose an ear or a tail!) We made the extra parts into a new “training” truck for our son to play with.
